Commissioning operation is a set of activities that are performed after the completion of the propulsion stage to check the correct operation of mechanical equipment and control systems, so that the process unit is in operational condition.
The most important startup activities are as follows:
Piping section:
Leak test of pipelines by injection of nitrogen (Leak Test) and ensuring the slightest leakage in flanges, valves and tanks
Mechanics section:
Chemical cleaning, chemical and catalytic fillers, hot start
Electrical and instrumentation department:
Electrical switchboards, switchboards
